Voi apua, murre esteenä työnsaannille! Minä olen tyytyväisenä löytänyt joitakin bloggaajia, jotka kirjoittavat murteellaan joko täysin tai osittain. Savon murre oli minusta pitkään ärsyttävän kuuloista, vaikka olen verenperimältäni tiukasti myös Savonmaalta lähtöisin. Nykyään se kuulostaa kotoisalta ja jotenkin liikuttavaltakin. Pohjanmaan murre osuu myös sydämeeni, mutta olen viime vuosina havainnut kuinka kovia pohjalaiset ovatkin kehumaan itseään. Sille ei helposti löydy voittajaa :)

Sinä siis ehdit saada version tuosta kirjasta. Minä en. Painos loppuunmyytiin nopeasti ja toisen painoksen piti tulla joulun alla. Hyvältä tuntuvat nuo lainaukset.
Tiedätkö, että porilaiset sanovat sanan hernekeitto väärin. Siitä meidät kuulemma tunnistaa. Meiltä puuttuu glottaaliklusiili. Näin opetti suomea opiskeleva Kuopus.

Minulle hämäläisen isän ja pohjoiskarjalalaisen äidin tyttärelle murteesi on kerrassaan virkistävää kuultavaa. Joensuun murteeseen verrattuna se on lähestulkoon eri kieltä! Sekä sanasto, puheen intonaatio ja lauserakennekin ovat erilaisia.

Kyllä murteesi kirjoistasikin näkyy, mikä minusta lisää kirjojen viehätysvoimaa. Murre näkyy erityisesti silloin kun kirjoitat tekstiisi "vuorosanoja" eli puhekielistä tekstiä mitä joku sanoo. Jokin lauserytmissä ja sanajärjestyksessä kertoo, ettei kyse ole itämurteista, vaikkei varsinaisia murresanoja olisikaan.

Omasta murteestani en osaa mennä oikein mitään sanomaan. Mitä se on, ei kunnolla mitään murretta, mutta ei kirjakieltäkään. Ainakaan se, miten puhun, ei estänyt minua saamasta työpaikkaa Helsingistä. Mutta Turussa käydessäni ihmiset ovat kyllä huomautelleet minun puhuvan kummallisella tavalla. Hyymm.... kekkähän ne kummasti puhuu! En minä, ku ne muut.

Saas sitten nähdä, miten minulle käy, kun kohta muutan Helsinkiin. Mitenkähän ne ihmiset siellä minut puheeni perusteella luokittelevat? Ehkei savolaiseksi kumminkaan, kun en "mie ja sie" ei istu suuhuni.

Se on kyllä totta, että ennen savolaisuus oli aiemmin paljon esillä - ja nimenomaan vitsinä. Minä ajattelin lapsena jonkin aikaa, että Esa Pakarinen on maailman paras laulaja. Hän nimittäin oli ensimmäinen laulaja, jonka äänen opin tunnistamaan ja olemassa oloon ylipäätään kiinnitin huomiota. Kai sitä Pakarista sitten tuli joka tuutista. Sitten kun huomasin, että on muitakin laulajia, jolloin Pakarinen menetti kärkisijansa. Muistelen nähneenikin Pakarisen laulamassa yhdessä ruokakaupassa, mutta en ole varma, pitääkö muistikuvani paikkansa vai kuvittelinkohan minä koko jutun lapsen vilkkaalla mielikuvituksella.

Almamaria, kaipa se on oikein ja tervettä pitää kauniina murretta jota on tottunut lapsena kuuntelemaan. Pohjalaiset ovat tosiaan hauskoja, kun kehua retostelevat itseään niin pidäkkeettömästi. Minussakin on hiukan savolaisverta, koska isoäitini oli savolainen, mutta murretta hän ei koskaan vahingossakaan puhunut, ei kuulunut tapoihin silloin.

Ooh mm, glottaaliklusiili, mikä upea sana! Kiitos tuosta ;-) toivottavasti saat oman kirjasi pian, tämä on hauska pikku läpyskä.

Arja, kyllä sinä hyvin sovit Helsinkiin, helsinkiläisistähän on suurin osa savolaisia:-) Tosin pitää myöntää, että sinussa savolaisuus on aika latenttina, sitä ei tyhmempi huomaakaan. Tuosta kirjasta muuten huomasin, että jotkut sanat joita olin kuvitellut ihan yleiskielen ilmauksiksi, ovatkin murresanoja, en ollut tajunnut sitä. Murre tosiaan varmasti näkyy ja kuuluu puheessani ja kirjoituksissani, mutta en ole koskaan suhtautunut asiaan kovin tietoisesti. En ole sillä tavalla kielitieteellisesti orientoitunut.

Aamulehdessä! kaipailtiin kyseiseen kirjaan vielä yhtä mukavaa porilaissanontaa, eli miten porilainen iloisesti tervehtii tavatessaan tuttavansa pitemmän ajan kuluttua -" Ai viäläk sääki ny elät"? tai vaihtoehtoisesti "Eläksääki viäl"?

Hehheh, tosiaan, tuohan siitä puuttui.

Näin pohjoisella ja hiukan helsinkiläisellä taustalla eksoottisinta suomea puhutaan entisessä Turun ja Porin läänissä. Yhdellä lyhyellä tutkimusmatkallani tulin tulokseen, että Porin murre on elävää puhetta ja Rauman giäl kauan sitten museoitua tavaraa (Nortamon vika).

Loistava postaus. Heko heko, nuo esimerkit on järjettömän ihania.

Mulle on jäänut erään Porilaisen näyttelijäpojan suusta mieleen sana ketä kun tarkoitetaan sanaa kuka. Esim. että "ketä se oikein luulee olevansa". Käytetäänkö sitä sielä ihan yleisesti?

Karpalo, ketä on yleisesti käytössä, enkä minä ole koskaan edes tajunnut sitä murresanaksi.

Sylvi, olet lyhyellä kenttätutkimuksellasi päätynyt sitten aivan oikeisiin johtopäätöksiin. Tosin en tiedä mitä mieltä raumalaiset ovat johtopäätöksistäsi.

Myös Kempeleesä, tuossa Oulun korvalla, sanotaa et "Mitä täsä".:)

Porin lähistöllä eri kunnissa on vielä omat erikoisuutensa. Olen asunut koko ikäni opiskeluaikaa lukuunottamatta Porin seudulla. Merikarvialla puhutaan ihan omalla tavallaan, samoin Luvialla.

Kaikkein hämmästynein olin, kun keväällä kävin Kokemäellä kosmetologilla ja siellä käväisi joku paikallinen nuori jutustelemassa. Olen Kokemäeltä kotoisin ja luulin puhetavan säilyneen itselläni, mutta murre kuulosti omaani verrattuna erilaiselta. Minuun on siis tarttunut Porin murre. Lapseni tosin väittävät, että sanastossani on kokemäkeläisiä sanoja, itse en niitä tunnista. Kun tapaan hesalaisia ystäviäni, he ovat välillä huvittuneita sanoistani, jotkut kovin ihastuneita puhetavastani.

Kuule Karpalo, hyvin varhaisesta lapsuudestani olen kuullut tuota ketä-muotoa sanottavan nimenomaan helsinkiläisten huonon kielitajun merkiksi. Pääkaupungin havaintoni ovat tukeneet väitettä.

Kirsti, pelkäsin jo kirjoittaessani, että astun jonkun raumalaisen liikavarpaille, mutta kirjoitinpa kuitenkin. Hauskaahan se rauman kieli on, mutta jokin pönäkkyys ja keinotekoisuus sen julkikäyttö esim. eri tiedottamisissa minusta on. Suurta viitseliäisyyttä tietysti lehden toimittaminen tällä kielimuodolla todistaa.

Tässä sitä kirjoitetaan toisten kielitajusta ja samalla jätetään oikolukematta oma teksti, jolloin siihen tietysti jää huolimattomuutta. Siis rauman kielen julkikäytössä eri tiedottamisissa on jotain pönäkkyyttä ja keinotekoisuutta, minusta ainakin.

Arja, omalla lapsellani oli vauvana sama ihailu Esa Pakarisen laulamista kohtaan kuin sinulla. Siellä makaili lattialla huovan päällä, ja tossu alkoi heilua Esan laulaessa.

Kirsti; Mikä ihmeen savolaisuus? Enpä kyllä usko itsessäni olevan savolaisuuta - edes latenttia sellaista.

Mistä minuun savolaisutta olisi tullut, kun en ole koskaan asunut savossa eikä kumpikaan vanhemmistani ole savolaista sukujuurta.

Joensuu, mistä äitini oli kotoisin, on Pohjois-Karjalassa eikä Savossa. Ei siellä savonmuretta puhuta eikä savolaisia asusta muita kuin niitä, jotka ovat sinne Savoista muuttaneet.

Pohjoiskarjalalaisen ihmisen luonnekin on erilainen kuin savolaisen, mutta enpä tiedä, onko se mitenkään eduksi (paitsi jos asiaa katsoo savolaisten näkökulmasta).

Pohjois-Karjalassa ollaan synkkyyteen taipuvaisia, savolaisiin verrattuna hiljaisia, liiankin nöyriä eikä mitenkään yrittäjähenkisiä (no, tämä nyt on karrikointia, mutta niin väittävät), mutta savolaisten sanotaan olevan pomottamaan taipuvia supliikkimiehiä/naisia, jotka onnistuvat kaupaamaan mitä hyvänsä kenelle tahansa ja ovat hauskaa seuraa ja sukkelakielisiä, mutta eivät kuitenkaan ikinä vastaa suoraan, jos niiltä kysytään. Ja ne savolaiset kaiken lisäksi vääntelevät sanoja ja viruttelevatkin niitä niin, että joensuulaisen leukoja alkaa särkeä jo pelkkä kuunteleminenkin.

Sylvi; Kumma vaikutus Pakarisella pikkulapsiin! En siis ollut ainoa, jonka Pakarinen lumosi.

Jaaa... Mutta olenhan minä sittenkin asunut Savossa muutaman vuoden; Savonlinnassa asustin. Jos se savolaisuus sieltä niskavilloihini hyppäsi, vaikken monta vuotta paikkakunnalla ollutkaan ja senkin aikuisena. Tiedäpä häntä. ;D

Lisäksi olen asunut Pohjois-Karjalassa, Karjalassa (Suomen puolella) ja Hämeessä. Ei ihme, jos murre on mennyt sekalaiseksi!

Niina, se on totta, että nyansseissa löytyy, melkein joka kaupunginosallakin on oma puhetyylinsä. Mutta onko niin, että omaan murteeseensa tosiaan havahtuu vasta siinä vaiheessa kun toiset alkavat siitä huomautella. Hyvä että helsinkiläiset ystäväsi ymmärtävät murteesi päälle.

Sylvi, ehkä raumalaiset ovat olleet liian tietoisia murteestaan. Sama vaara vaanii tietysti porilaisia, jos murretta aletaan samaan tyyliin paapoa.

Sori Arja, Savonlinna sotki, vaikka muistin tietysti että olit alunperin Joensuusta. Mutta kyllä pohjoiskarjalaisetkin sopivat Helsinkiin melkein yhtä hyvin kuin savolaiset ja hämäläiset.

Helsingissä asuvana savolaisena sanoisin, että savon murretta on mahdoton kirjoittaa mutta hauska puhua ja kuunnella kuten muitakin murteita.

Jotkut tuttavat väittävät, että savoni katosi valtameren taakse. Saattaa olla, että jotain ääntämisestä hävisi, mutta arvostus yleensäkin murteita kohtaan lisääntyi. Olen iloinen siitä, että lapsillakin säilyi murretaustaa.

Savoa puhutaan monilla tavoilla. Niinpä esimerkiksi iisalmelainen puhuu aivan eri tavalla kuin kuopiolainen tai jopa ne, jotka asuvat parin kymmenen kilometrin päässä Iisamesta.

Olen lueksinut Matti Klingen kirjaa "Iisalmen ruhtinaskunta". Siellä vilahtelee joitakin savon sutkauksia.

Juu, murteiden ystävä olen minäkin. Kovin sykäytti työtoverin kuvaus kahdesta naisesta, jotka puhuivat bussissa aika kovalla äänellä karjalan murretta. Kuinka ollakaan, heidän seuraansa lyöttäytyi humalaisen, joka myös osoittautui karjalaiseksi.

Blogisisko, murteisiin myös tuntuu liittyvän paljon muuta kuin pelkkä kielen taso. Kysymys on koko ajattelumallista, maailmankuvasta, jota kieli omalta osaltaan ilmentää.

Pohjanmaan murteesta kun puhutaan, niin on hyvä muistaa, että alue on laaja ulottuen Oulun seudulta (Pohjois-Pohjanmaa), Keski-Pohjanmaan rannikkoseuduilta syvälle sisämaahan ja sitten tuonne Etelä-Pohjanmaalle, jonka murteesta kai useimmille tulee mieleen se "pohojalaasuus". Omalla kotiseudullani Keski-Pohjanmaalla murteeseen vaikuttavat mm. ruotsin kielen lainat ja puhunta on kovin erilaista kuin Etelä-P:lla. Etelän pohjalaisethan ne harrastavat tätä "troosaamista" eli pääosin itseironista leveilyä, joka minusta on kyllä hauskaa ja sopisi meille muillekin suomalaisille puhetaidon harjoittelusta vähän samaan tapaan kuin argumentoinnin tai väittelytaidon opetteleminen.

Samaa mieltä olen kuin Blogisisko, että murre on paljon muutakin kuin kielen taso.

Sain alussa mainitun mainion sanakirjan käsiini vasta viime maanantaina käydessäni Porissa. Naurua ja vanhojen aikojen muisteloa on riittänyt. Myös blogi ja sen kommentit herättivät mielihyvää. Vietin Porissa ensimmäiset pari vuosikymmentäni 40-50-luvuilla, jolloin sanakirjan useimmat sanonnat vielä olivat ahkerassa käytössä ja vanhat ihmiset vielä ryystivät kahvia "tassilta" ja kostuttivat pullaa kahviin. Kun kahvipöydässä tyrkytetään "kaakkua" sanotaan "kast ny" tai "ot ny". Verbi "poraaminen" eli itkeminen tuntui puuttuvan kirjasta.
Nykyisin Porin murteen tunnistaa parhaiten "nuotista" vaikka vanhat sanonnat suureksi osaksi ovat jääneet pois käytöstä.
Kunpa joku jatkaisi porilaisten sanontojen keruuta.

Luulisi, että tekijöitä kiinnostaisi jatkaa projektiaan, sen verran innostunutta vastaanotto on ollut. Porin murre on kyllä jäänyt lapsipuolen asemaan tämän nykyisen murrebuuminkin aikana ja ihan suotta. Poraaminen oli tosiaan yleistä minunkin lapsuudessani, itkemisestä ei puhunut kukaan.
