Ihanaa kieltä!

Silloin, kun teksti on kirjoitettu, kieliasu on voinut vaikuttaa ihan normaalilta, mutta ei taatusti enää.

Maltoin olla nauramatta siihen saakka kunnes kirjoittaja totesi: "Majavan lihaa syövät ne jotka sitä pyytävät", mutta sitten hohotuksi pyrki väkisin ilmoille.

Nauratti niin vietävästi. Luin tekstin naurussasuin loppuun asti - ja aloitin sitten alusta ja nauroin taas!

En tiedä, miksi tuo teksti minua niin kovasti huvittaa, mutta huvittaa se silti.

Ps. Lukijoille tiedoksi: Kirstillä todellakin on turvevillapaita. Näin sen omin silmin.

Arja ja Itte, minuakin tuo teksti huvitti ja siksi sen tänne liitinkin. Minusta on kiinnostavaa, että majavasta täysin luontevasti sanotaan "hän". Muistan, että ainakin jossain vaiheess painotettiin koulussa voimakkaasti, että eläimistä pitää sanoa "se". mietin että missä vaiheessa tapa on vaihtunut. Kaltaiseni höpsöt ihmisethän tietysti sanovat lemmikeistään hän, vaikka ihmiset ovat aina se.

Ymmärtääkseni on Varsinais-Suomessa tapana puhua eläimestä sanalla "hän".
Ihminen saattaa kyllä olla "se".

Täällä ollaankin jotenkin niin vanhakantaisia.

Itä-Suomessa sekä ihmiset että eläimet ovat horjumattomasti "se". Murretta puhuvat eivät käytä "hän" -sanaa lainkaan missään käyttöyhteydessä. En tiedä, miten laajasti tämä pitää paikkaansa, mutta Pohjois-Karjalassa ja Savossa ainakin.

Tarkemmin ajatellen "hän" ihmisestä käytettynä ihmetyttää minua. Mistä se oikein on tullut?

Kirjakielemmehän sanotaan olevan rakennettu pääasiassa länsi- mutta jossain määrin myös itä-murteiden varaan. Mutta jollei "hän"-sanaa käytetä ihmisestä länsimurteissa myöskään itämurteista, niin mistä se sitten tipahti?

Hyvä kysymys Arja, en tosiaan tiedä. Taivaasta taisi tipahtaa.
